About The Position

We are seeking a professional, polished, and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Mazda team. Mazda owners are passionate about their vehicles and expect an exceptional ownership experience. As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, helping them maintain their vehicles while delivering a level of service that builds trust and long-term loyalty. This position is ideal for an individual who combines automotive knowledge with outstanding hospitality, strong communication skills, and the intuition to anticipate customer needs.

Requirements

  • Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience preferred
  • Automotive dealership experience preferred
  • College degree preferred, but not required
  • Strong customer service and hospitality skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership software systems

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a welcoming, professional, and personalized service experience
  • Build lasting relationships with customers through trust, transparency, and follow-through
  • Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle needs
  • Present maintenance and repair recommendations clearly and professionally
  • Prepare estimates and obtain customer authorization for repairs
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and accurate communication
  • Keep customers informed throughout the service process
  • Ensure timely vehicle delivery and a seamless ownership experience
  • Maintain accurate records and service documentation
  • Support dealership goals related to customer satisfaction, retention, and service performance
