The Service Advisor is responsible for selling, identifying, and documenting service, maintenance, and repair services for customers. This role also involves scheduling service appointments to be performed. The Service Advisor works with customers and technicians to identify necessary maintenance, advises customers on recommended services, and offers additional services and repairs. They compute the cost of parts and labor, estimate repair costs, and explain estimates to customers. The position requires meeting dealership standards for repair and order production, maintaining high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores, and ensuring a clean and safe work area. The Service Advisor must also participate in required training, accurately record work hours, follow company policies and regulations, and demonstrate the company's core values.
