Requirements

Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, maintenance procedures, and repair processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Ability to diagnose vehicle issues through questioning, inspection, and testing.
Proficiency in using automotive service management software and basic computer skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to their vehicle concerns or service requests.
Explain necessary maintenance and repair procedures clearly and professionally.
Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues through customer interviews, visual inspections, or road tests.
Prepare detailed repair orders based on customer needs and inspection findings.
Estimate costs for additional repairs not included in the original service order and obtain customer approval before proceeding.
Advise customers on available services, maintenance schedules, and vehicle care options.
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and work performed.
