About The Position
Nissan of Elk Grove is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Service Advisor to join their growing team. As a Service Advisor, you'll serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, helping create an outstanding ownership experience while building long-term customer relationships. Requirements
- Previous automotive Service Advisor experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers
- Strong sales and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening consistent with applicable laws
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document repair needs
- Prepare repair orders and service estimates
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle inspections and manufacturer recommendations
- Communicate repair progress and updates throughout the service process
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate repairs
- Review completed repairs and invoices with customers
- Maintain accurate documentation and service records
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from vehicle drop-off through delivery
- Build long-term customer relationships that encourage repeat business
