About The Position

Healey Brothers is looking for an experienced and energetic candidate to join their service team at their brand-new, state-of-the-art facility at Healey Brothers Hyundai in Fishkill, NY. This employee's main role will consist of Service Advising. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' prior automotive/service advisor experience.

Requirements

2 years documented experience in a dealership atmosphere or in a Service Advisor position (applicants without dealership experience will not be considered)
General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid driver’s license
2 years plus documented customer service skills in a customer facing environment

Nice To Haves

Professional certification from the Nation Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Provide a high-level customer experience to all our customers and guests
Greet customers, schedule service appointments, and receive vehicle information
Listen to the customer regarding the service desired and clearly explain information on the repair order
Refer the technician to the customer and/or test drive the vehicle to confirm the source of the repairs
Estimate the cost and time needed to do the repair, considering the customer’s schedule
Handle customer concerns and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Periodically check on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contact the customer when technicians discover any additional issues
Receive customer approval to do any additional work and explain to the customer the work being performed and the cost associated with the work
