About The Position

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to join their team. In this role, you will act as the liaison between Service Technicians and customers, working in state-of-the-art service departments. You will explain technician recommendations to customers in an understandable manner, identify up-sell opportunities, and ensure customer vehicles are safe. This position involves direct customer interaction in the service lane and utilizing leading-edge technology to enhance the customer experience and drive loyalty.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers to ensure a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner upon arrival.
• Determine vehicle needs through customer communication, vehicle walk-arounds, inspections, and test drives.
• Utilize a consultative selling process to help customers plan for ongoing vehicle maintenance.
• Create repair orders with transparent cost and time estimates.
• Collaborate with technicians and parts associates for timely work completion.
• Follow up with customers on vehicle status according to their preferred communication method.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Acquire superior product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to foster loyalty.
