About The Position

Geis Peterbilt is seeking a qualified Service Advisor to join their team! They are looking for a motivated and eager individual with Heavy-Duty service experience. This is a great opportunity for a rewarding career in a growing industry. As a Service Advisor / Writer, individuals will provide customers with the highest level of customer service. They must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, understanding the importance of customer service, possess strong communication skills, and the ability to work with multiple forms of technology to provide up-to-date information to the team and customers. Geis Peterbilt will provide all necessary in-house training for specific systems and processes related to the job functions. Applicants must have a positive attitude and be able to work well with coworkers, as they are TEAM PLAYERS.

Requirements

  • Some heavy lifting is required.
  • Promotes and maintains a positive, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude within the department.
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive resourcefulness & versatility in a fast-paced, changing priority, environment.
  • Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers in selecting and purchasing the correct parts and services.
  • Providing pricing and product information to customers.
  • Answering telephones promptly.
  • Maintaining customer satisfaction at or above company standards.
  • Contributing to departmental production and profitability goals.
  • Ability to apply common sense when needed, while staying within Kansas City Peterbilt’s guidelines.
  • Perform accurate and complete service write-ups.
  • Provide accurate documentation for all repair orders.
  • Provide exceptional communication between the company and the customer.
  • Provide accurate and detailed estimates of needed repairs.
  • Utilize all technology available to keep customers updated.
  • Responsible for adhering to all warranty policies and procedures.
  • Ability to navigate websites for technical information.
  • Must be Ethical and Trustworthy.
  • The ideal candidate needs to be self-motivated and perform all tasks to the best of their ability.
  • The candidate also needs to be motivated to take advantage of all of the online OEM training.
