Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or automotive training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or automotive service advisor role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and explain technical information to customers.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient with computers and service management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
- Provide clear explanations of recommended services and repair options.
- Prepare and present service estimates and obtain customer approvals.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
- Maintain communication with customers regarding service status and any changes.
- Manage service tickets and maintain detailed records of services performed.
- Promote service specials and additional maintenance services to customers.
- Ensure a clean and welcoming service reception area.
