About The Position

The Service Advisor is the face of the dealership for service customers. This role presents and sells needed products and services professionally while following the manufacturer's published maintenance schedules and requirements. The Service Advisor builds customer rapport to promote satisfaction and retention, and works in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Have strong customer service, telephone, and computer skills.
• Be able to manage a fast-paced work environment with limited supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive Service Advisor experience is heavily preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously and obtain pertinent vehicle information.
• Promote services and build rapport with customers.
• Advise customers on vehicle care and the value of maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
• Generate and provide complete, accurate repair estimates.
• Establish and communicate repair completion times to customers and technicians.
• Answer incoming service calls.
• Maintain and schedule service appointments.
• Follow prescribed customer follow-up procedures to encourage return visits, increase sales, and support strong Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) results.
• Follow manufacturer warranty guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct business honestly and maintain CSI at or above Asbury's specified service goals for district, regional, and national scores.
• Comply with applicable laws and company policies on safeguarding customer, company, and manufacturer information, as well as customer vehicles and property.
