About The Position

We are currently hiring a Service Advisor to join the Car Innovation Lab based in our Member Contact Centre. As a Service Advisor, you’re a self-starter specializing in BCAA Auto Insurance focusing on new business acquisition. As a Auto Specialist you are dedicated to delivering amazing sales, service, and support experiences to BCAA Members through any channel they prefer.

Requirements

• Completion of grade 12
• Level 1 Insurance license
• Completion of Autoplan Essentials
• Minimum 3 months of general insurance sales and service experience including auto insurance.
• Strong computer skills with basic knowledge of MS Office 365.
• Limited history of Errors and Omissions and in good standing with the Insurance Council of BC.

Nice To Haves

• CAIB certification
• knowledge of ICBC systems
• ability to speak other languages aside from English.

Responsibilities

• Support the growth of BCAA’s Auto Insurance business by selling and upgrading BCAA products and services.
• Consistently deliver exceptional Member experiences.
• Support all aspects of the home customer lifecycle.
• Create and follow up on business leads and upcoming renewals.
• Collaborate with BCAA and other supplier’s Underwriters.
