About The Position

Our dealership is seeking a Service Advisor to be the face of our service department. This role involves turning customer visits into positive experiences by greeting them, understanding their service needs, and managing repair orders from start to finish. The Service Advisor will communicate with technicians, explain repairs, costs, and warranty details, maintain customer communication, process payments, and ensure overall customer satisfaction. The position also contributes to achieving department sales goals and high customer service scores.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of service advisor or automotive customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and listen to their service needs
  • Write and manage repair orders from drop-off through delivery
  • Communicate with technicians to gather repair recommendations
  • Explain repairs, costs, and warranty details clearly and professionally
  • Maintain communication with customers throughout the service process
  • Review completed repairs, process payments, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Help achieve department sales goals and high customer service scores
  • Other duties as assigned by management
