About The Position

Tom Wood Toyota, located in Whitestown, Indiana, is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Service Advisor to deliver an exceptional service experience. In this role, you'll combine your automotive knowledge, communication skills, and commitment to customer satisfaction to help clients maintain and repair their vehicles while building lasting relationships.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor is required.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using dealership management systems such as Xtime, Dealertrack, or similar software.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Successfully completing a background check, motor vehicle record review, Social Security verification, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer with a professional, friendly, and personalized approach.
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and provide clear explanations of recommended services.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process, including status updates, timelines, and any additional repair needs.
• Build long-term customer relationships through outstanding service and communication.
• Prepare accurate repair orders based on customer concerns and technician inspections.
• Work closely with technicians and the parts department to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
• Develop accurate estimates for maintenance and repair services.
• Review completed repairs with customers, explaining the work performed in clear, easy-to-understand terms.
• Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle condition.
• Achieve service sales goals while maintaining honesty, transparency, and customer trust.
• Promote dealership maintenance programs, warranties, and service packages when appropriate.
