About The Position

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Service Administrator to join our Halifax branch. The Service Administrator plays a key role in providing daily administrative and clerical support that enables efficient service operations. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable working on a computer throughout the day, and enjoys being a reliable team player.

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills and comfort working in multiple systems daily
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Positive attitude with a team-oriented and adaptable mindset
  • Has own vehicle and valid driver's license to commute daily to the branch

Nice To Haves

  • Invoicing experience
  • Exposure to Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Experience in a construction or service-related environment
  • Post-secondary education in administration or business

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of service files and documentation, including work orders, invoices, purchase orders, and customer records
  • Complete full-cycle invoicing for service work
  • Support Accounts Receivable activities, including follow-ups as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and service information
  • Communicate with customers and internal service teams to support daily operations
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Service team
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure documentation is complete and accessible
  • Respond to service-related inquiries and assist with dispatching crews as needed
