About The Position

The Service Administrator will be responsible for the effective performance of miscellaneous clerical duties within the service department.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-year administrative degree or 2 years related work experience
  • An above average computer comfort level to work with Excel, MS Outlook, and OneDrive
  • Strong keyboarding skills
  • General understanding of mechanical/technical terms preferred
  • Knowledge of service process and procedures
  • Must have a positive mental attitude
  • Maintain excellent communications skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Should be personable, highly motivated, a problem solver, ethical, and able to adapt to all forces around them – customers, suppliers, coworkers, and manufacturers.
  • Very detail-oriented
  • Requires sitting, standing with periodic lifting, walking, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching
  • Requires ability to push, lift, pull, and/or carry 10 lbs. or more

Responsibilities

  • Assist in opening service orders, segments, and corrections of service orders as needed
  • Cost and invoice service orders as necessary throughout the day
  • Add equipment profiles as needed for customer machines needing repair
  • Performs month-end processes as needed for the Service Department
  • Proofreads work orders for grammar and spelling as necessary
  • Works with Foremen to ensure work orders are processed and invoiced within 10 days of last labor
  • Timecard entry onto work orders as needed
  • Maintains department files and ensures material is properly filed within the company’s computer network for multiple companies
  • Other duties as required by manager
