About The Position

Climatec LLC seeks Service Account Specialist 1 (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 1077 Central Parkway South, Suite 900, San Antonio, TX 78232. This role involves coordinating and managing the scheduling of specialists for service agreements, T&M projects, and service retrofit projects. The specialist will also manage the receipt and verification of service workorders and employee time sheets, and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction. The position offers technical expertise and recommendations to customers and the service sales team to support the generation of additional work. Responsibilities include coordinating with service sales for TSA renewal and escalation, performing customer quality assurance checks, and promptly following up on customer issues. Project management for TSA's, T&M, and service retrofits, including networking design and installation, is a key aspect. The role also involves coordinating with the Material Coordinator for accurate truck stocks and material replacement, working with the collections department for timely collections, and coordinating material orders to maximize cash flow and efficiency. Collaboration with subcontractors and internal teams for installations, and providing support to solve building operating issues, are also part of the role. Communication with internal employees to ensure accurate labor and productivity, and with external organizations like consulting engineers and building owners for integrated systems engineering, is required. Support for ongoing service engineering and existing building systems is also expected. The service management system must be kept updated to achieve maximum productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience as a Specialist Engineer or in an occupation involving HVAC controls, system networking troubleshooting, installation and design.
  • Employment experience with IT network and networking systems.
  • Employment experience with Developing and designing complex computer networks.
  • Employment experience with Third-party integrations to open platform BMS systems.
  • Employment experience with Programming of PLC devices and global/field devices.
  • Employment experience with Computer Assisted Design, (CAD).
  • Employment experience with Computer systems and networking including the MS Office Suite of products.
  • Employment experience with HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Service Coordinator to manage the scheduling of specialists for all service agreements.
  • Manage the day-to-day scheduling for emergency and T&M projects.
  • Manage service retrofit projects.
  • Manage the receipt, verification for accuracy, and entering of service workorders and employee time sheets.
  • Interact with service customers to ensure Climatec BTG consistently meets and exceeds customer expectations and commitments.
  • Offer technical expertise and recommendations to customers and the service sales team to support the generation of additional work.
  • Coordinate with service sales for TSA renewal and escalation.
  • Routinely performs customer QA’s informally as well as formally when scheduled.
  • Follows up on customer issues promptly, ensuring timely, accurate, and relevant communication both verbally and in writing.
  • Provide project management on TSA’s, T&M, and service retrofit work.
  • Lead project management on networking design and installation.
  • Coordinate with the Material Coordinator to ensure employee truck stocks are kept accurate and material used from them is replaced in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Work closely with the collections department and other employees as required ensuring timely collections for T&M, service agreements, and service construction.
  • Coordinate material orders and timing with Material Coordinator to maximize cash flow and material handling efficiency.
  • Engage with Subcontractors or internal installation team to achieve maximum value in installations.
  • Offer support to Climatec and other contractors to solve building operating issues that go beyond the controls or special systems operation.
  • Communicate with internal employees as required to ensure Climatec labor is accurate and timely and estimated productivity is achieved in all areas.
  • Provide leadership and input to others as requested or required to assist in the accurate estimation, design, installation, start up, commissioning, and training for building systems and network designs.
  • Communicate with external organizations as required such as consulting engineers, building owners, and other contractors to ensure accurate and timely engineering of integrated systems.
  • Provide support for ongoing service engineering and support for existing building systems.
  • Keep service management system updated and employ it to achieve maximum productivity and perform other duties as assigned.
