About The Position
The Clement Hotel Palo Alto is seeking a skilled Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that guests have an unforgettable dining experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- 2+ years directly related to serving and/or bartending experience is required
- Must possess well rounded food and beverage knowledge (including food allergies, craft cocktails, wine, beer, whiskey, etc.) with a strong ability to educate our guests on our menu offerings
- Must be an excellent communicator with fluency in English required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will include late nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid food handlers and alcohol server certification
Nice To Haves
- fine dining, upscale and/or luxury hotel experience will be strongly preferred
- bi-lingual abilities will be preferred
