About The Position

Fogo de Chão is hiring a Server, also referred to as a Waiter or Waitress, to help provide guests with an unforgettable dining experience centered on the Culinary Art of Churrasco. Servers welcome and assist guests, explain menu items and the table-side serving concept, take and serve beverage and dessert orders, communicate special meat requests, and coordinate payment processing. The role also includes assisting fellow Servers and completing opening or closing shift duties. The position pays a fixed rate of $6.75 and is eligible for tips; additional tip details are provided during onboarding or upon request.

Requirements

• Able to transport objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods of time and work at a quick pace.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting.
• Pull each guest’s chair and place a napkin in their lap.
• Present the menu and answer questions about menu items, preparation methods, and the continuous table-side serving concept.
• Take and serve beverage and dessert orders.
• Communicate guests’ special meat requests to the Churrasqueiros.
• Place orders with Cashiers for processing and payment.
• Assist other Servers in their areas when appropriate.
• Complete beginning-of-shift or closing-shift duties.
