About The Position

Servers provide attentive, efficient, and thoughtful service in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. They guide guests through the menu, keep beverages refilled, and ensure food arrives promptly and accurately. As part of the front-of-house team, Servers help create memorable dining experiences for guests celebrating special occasions or spending time with friends and family.

Requirements

• At least 12 months of serving experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with payment processing and basic math skills.
• Dependability, punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Adaptability, problem-solving ability, and consistent attention to detail.
• Passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, and continuously bend, reach, and twist.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and create a welcoming experience.
• Build rapport through casual conversation while providing attentive service.
• Orchestrate dining experiences in alignment with defined service standards.
• Take and enter accurate orders using a POS system.
• Listen actively to guests and anticipate their needs.
• Share menu knowledge, make recommendations, and answer questions about food allergies and ingredients.
• Guide guests in beer and spirit selections and demonstrate strong wine knowledge.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure order accuracy and timely service.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and with urgency.
• Fill and refill beverages, clear tables, and manage multiple tables.
• Process payments accurately, including cash handling and credit/debit transactions.
• Follow instructions, procedures, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Complete sidework and closing tasks to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Work well under pressure with a positive, patient attitude.
