About The Position

Under the direction of the F&B Manager, the Server provides knowledgeable, prompt, friendly and courteous guest service to guests while taking orders, serving meals and collecting payment in the Ribbonwood Grill.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to stand for an entire 8 hour shift.
  • Must be able to read and speak English.
  • Must be able to carry out tasks with limited supervision.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in several areas.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have a professional appearance.
  • Must be able to do the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to smile at all times while on casino property, and able to promote a positive professional attitude.
  • At least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous guest service to all casino and restaurant guests in accordance with department standards.
  • Must be able to demonstrate and maintain service level standards.
  • Possess knowledge to promote desserts, wine, appetizers, specialty items, and other items.
  • Knowledge of liquor, wine and beer.
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests.
  • Deliver food from kitchen to guests.
  • Monitor and take action to ensure quality of food temperature, presentation and freshness.
  • Observe seated tables and respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
  • Engage with guests to ensure dining expectations are met, if not exceeded.
  • Assists other servers in giving the best possible service.
  • Clean tables after guests have finished eating and take dirty dishes, utensils, etc. to kitchen for washing.
  • Clean up any messes, such as spilled drinks or food.
  • Collect payment for charges due from the guest(s).
  • Responsible for adhering to established cash control policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to Multi task in busy environment
  • Must be able to follow all standards for health and safety protocols.
  • Maintains cleanliness of all stations during shift
  • Perform side work as directed.
  • Must keep all service areas stocked with necessary supplies
  • Open to new challenges and tasks on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to work all shifts and Holidays
  • All other duties as assigned.
