About The Position

At Solette, Servers are responsible for creating unforgettable dining experiences by anticipating needs, delivering exceptional service, and bringing warmth to every guest interaction. The role requires a team player with strong multitasking skills, a love for great food, and a knack for making people feel welcome.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to effectively communicate to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
• Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
• Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels
• Follows all safety and sanitation policies
• Properly check all guests’ identification to ensure legal age compliance

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 2 years experience in a fast paced restaurant

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival.
• Follow established Solette service sequence for consistent food & beverage guest experiences.
• Handle payment for guest purchases in compliance with Solette, Payment Card Industry and cash handling procedures.
• Properly ring guest orders through the POS system.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Work with a spirit of teamwork.
• Communicate needs and ideas to management.
• Maintain current and accurate knowledge of the menu.
• Clean and reset tables and transport dirty dishes to bus tub, tray or dish room.
• Promptly deliver food to the correct guests according to table and position numbers.
• Safely and effectively move chairs, tables, highchairs and booster seats.
• Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment.
• Ability to effectively communicate to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction.
• Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment.
• Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels.
• Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
• Upsell items to guests.
• Properly check all guests’ identification to ensure legal age compliance.
• Perform side work as needed.
• Keep server station clean and organized.
