About The Position

Will assist Chef and Cooks with prep work. Cleaning, peeling, cutting of food items according to the company's safety standard. Meeting and greeting residents as they come into the dining room. You will take meal orders from the residents and deliver to them when meal is plated. Monitoring the dining room to ensure it is clean and up to our standards. You will learn the resident's dietary restrictions, change of diets and preferences.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English
• Food Handlers Certification (If you do not have or it is expired, company will pay for certification)
• First Aid Certification (If you do not have or it is expired, company will pay for certification)
• Hospitality and customer service skills
• Able to multitask, flexibility and willing to cross train
• One year experience in food handling
• Able to pass mandated State of California background check.
