About The Position

This position is about creating a memorable and unique experience for guests, not just serving food. Guest Service Experts are expected to take initiative and provide a wide range of services to ensure guests enjoy their meal. This includes tasks such as setting tables, communicating with the kitchen, interacting with and serving guests, and cleaning work areas and supplies, all while making transactions feel like part of the overall experience. Success in this role requires creating a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a professional appearance and communication. Guest Service Experts must be prepared for physical activity, including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, navigating various surfaces, managing menus, and performing hands-on tasks involving lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

Requirements

  • Create a safe workplace

  • Ensure uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional
  • Be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces)
  • Manage the menu (read and visually verify information)
  • Take a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping)

  • Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year related work experience
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience
  • License or Certification: None
