About The Position

A server at High West delivers a welcoming, fun, and distinctive guest experience to every patron in our Saloon. This role requires uncompromised professionalism and composure in all situations, a passion for product, and the ability to provide epic guest experiences through effortless suggestions and honest salesmanship. The server will convert guests into “High West Whiskey Ambassador’s” by sharing detailed knowledge of HW whiskeys, cocktails, food, and their availability. They will educate guests about the history of High West, its whiskey, and its food, ensuring guest expectations are met by executing the proper sequence of service with purpose, confidence, and speed. Maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the building throughout all hours, completing assigned tasks in a timely manner, and valuing internal hospitality and teamwork are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods.
• Lifting may be required.

• Educates guests in an honest way about the history of our home, our whiskey, and our food.
• Ensures guest expectations are met by executing proper sequence of service, moving with purpose, confidence, and speed.
• Maintains the details of table and restaurant cleanliness in all areas of the building, throughout all hours.
• Completes set-up, side work and closing tasks as assigned and/or directed in a timely manner.
• Works closely with Lead Server to ensure all tasks are completed thoroughly, correctly, and efficiently during the shift.
• Values the importance of internal hospitality and the necessary team environment this promotes.
