Poston Butte Golf Club, located in Florence, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced, hospitality-focused organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Ideal candidates are dependable, customer service-centric, and work well in a team. Demonstrating a strong level of communication and interpersonal skills, a server will be processing orders and serving food and beverage items to customers, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of food service experience
- Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent
- A thorough understanding of fine and casual dining
- Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must be dependable
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Provide prompt and efficient customer service
- Display knowledge of the F&B menu
- Take guests' food and/or drink orders and turn it in to kitchen, bar, etc.
- Serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely manner
- Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
- Check back to ensure guest satisfaction; replenish items as necessary
- Suggest and serve dessert, coffee and other items as applicable
- Handle all cash and/or credit cards for payment following all standard operating procedures
- Keep tables, dining room and workstation(s) sanitized and organized
- Listen and respond to customer complaints
- Perform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by manager
- Perform all other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
