About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests, from greeting them warmly to ensuring their satisfaction throughout their meal. You will take orders, deliver food and beverages, process payments, and maintain a clean and organized dining area. We are looking for individuals who are at least 18 years old, willing to work food runner shifts, and committed to learning our menu thoroughly.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must work 1-2 Food Runner shifts per week.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and other team members.
  • Ability to add and subtract two and three-digit numbers and perform these operations using units of American money.
  • Ability to operate computer point-of-sale system.
  • Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
  • Food Handler Certification is required.
  • TABC Certification is required.
  • Constant standing/walking.
  • Occasional stooping/kneeling.
  • Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 40 pounds.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps.
  • Constant working in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods.
  • Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine.
  • Constant receiving detailed information through oral communication.
  • Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas using the spoken word.
  • Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous restaurant experience is optional but preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet guests.
  • Make guests feel comfortable and cared for.
  • Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services.
  • Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests promptly.
  • Prepare final bills, present checks, accept payments, and process credit card charges or make change.
  • Perform side work as required at the start and end of each shift.
  • Monitor guests' dining experience to ensure satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to requests and communicate guest feedback to managers.
  • Assist fellow servers.
  • Complete server training to obtain strong working knowledge of the menu.
  • Attend all scheduled team member meetings.
