About The Position

Fogo de Chão is hiring a Server (also referred to as a Waiter or Waitress) to help deliver an unforgettable dining experience centered on the Culinary Art of Churrasco. The role involves welcoming and assisting guests, explaining menu items and preparation methods, taking beverage and dessert orders, and coordinating special meat requests with the Churrasqueiros. Servers also support teammates and complete beginning- or closing-shift duties. The position requires working at a quick pace, standing for long periods, lifting or transporting objects up to 25 pounds, and working weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting.
• Pull each guest’s chair and place the napkin in their lap.
• Present the menu and answer questions about menu items.
• Explain preparation methods and the continuous table-side serving concept.
• Take and serve beverage and dessert orders.
• Communicate guests’ special meat requests to the Churrasqueiros.
• Place orders with Cashiers for processing and payment.
• Assist other Servers in their areas when appropriate.
• Complete beginning- or closing-shift duties.
