Requirements
- Able to pass pre-employment physical/TB test
- Obtain fingerprint clearance as required by our licensure
- Food Handlers' certification
- Knowledge of facility, services, menus (including entrées and their ingredients), job duties, kashrut/kosher dietary laws, and policies and procedures, and/or can seek information to accommodate resident/guest needs and assure safe and efficient work environment
Responsibilities
- Set up trays and dining room tables per guest preferences and diet orders.
- Follow seating arrangements and notify Diet Aide or manager of conflicts or changes.
- Follow diet rosters and tray tickets for accuracy of therapeutic and texture modified diets, allergies, preferences, dining room, and other special needs.
- Notify diet aide or RDN prior to making any modifications.
- Obtain meal preferences for individuals who have not completed the weekly menu.
- Record and report food preferences and intolerances to RD and Diet Aide.
