About The Position
Morrison Living is hiring immediately for part time SERVER positions at Hearthstone Lodge. This role involves taking food and beverage orders and efficiently delivering items to dining room guests, ensuring a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and culinary excellence, and enjoys creating memorable experiences for residents.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders efficiently.
- Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
- Follow up with guests to assist with any additional needs or requests.
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients.
- Advise guests on food and drink combinations, accommodate reasonable requests, and note preferences.
- Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
- Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to get along well with others.
- Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
- Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
- Promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to the supervisor.
- Ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods, keeping the area clean and neat.
- Operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
- Work with staff of other departments during special events and functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
