About The Position

The Village at Mercy Creek, is a vibrant senior living community in Normal, IL. We offer Assisted Living with a Memory Care Unit. We are looking for Part-Time Servers. Weekdays 3:30-7pm and every other weekend 10:30a-7:00pm. In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance in all dietary functions as directed and instructed by the Dining Services management team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• ServSafe certification if required
• Exceptional customer service skills

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of dining services experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to the residents and set the table in the dining rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas including but not limited to vents, fryers, flattop, range, steamers, ovens, refrigerators, coolers, and storage areas.
• Bus dining room as needed and send dishes through the dishwashing machine.
• Wash pots and pans as needed.
• Put clean dishes away in appropriate places.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
• Dispose of garbage appropriately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.
