Requirements

At least 1–2 years of recent experience as a Server in a fine-dining establishment
Knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails is required
Ability to handle special requests and dietary restrictions with professionalism and grace
Experience following steps of service and providing attentive, knowledgeable service
Strong communication skills, both with guests and team members
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Friendly, engaging personality with a passion for delivering outstanding service
Ability to anticipate guest needs and be proactive in addressing requests
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure
Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shifts

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional service, ensuring guests feel welcomed, valued, and well-attended to from start to finish
Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar
Deliver food and drinks to guests, ensuring all dishes meet Max Downtown’s high standards for presentation and temperature
Offer wine and beverage recommendations, sharing knowledge about the menu, wines, and craft cocktails
Address guest inquiries and handle requests with professionalism and grace
Ensure that all guest orders are accurate, including noting allergies or dietary restrictions
Follow steps of service to ensure smooth and efficient dining experiences
Work closely with other team members to maintain a high level of service during busy periods
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment in the dining area
