Requirements

Previous server experience is required.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

Responsibilities

Greets patrons upon arrival and assists with seating as needed.
Takes food and beverage orders accurately and courteously, responding to patron questions.
Maintains complete knowledge of and strictly abides by state liquor regulations and verifies legal drinking age.
Handles purchasing transactions, including operating the cash register and accounting for daily sales.
Receives payment from patrons, makes change, and issues receipts.
Clears and resets tables and the bar area as needed.
Maintains thorough knowledge of all beverage selections and wine list characteristics.
Maintains cleanliness and sanitation at all times and performs closing clean-up duties.
Resolves patron problems/complaints using best judgment or referring to management.
Assists other staff members as needed to ensure optimum service.
Completes all necessary paperwork and maintains files and records.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
