About The Position

As a Server, you are the face of Denny's. You will be greeting, seating, and serving our guests in a friendly and courteous manner. You will help by taking and delivering food and beverage orders, anticipating the needs of our guests, suggesting our meal items, receiving payments, and assisting other staff as needed. Our goal is to provide total guest satisfaction. Our team is made of committed, caring, and energetic individuals who make every Denny's location the great and diverse place it is.

Requirements

• Effective communicator in English, both orally and in writing
• Team player, collaborative and attentive
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends
• Excellent guest service and people skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask effectively
• Basic math skills (e.g. add, subtract, multiply and divide)
• Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk throughout a 4 to 8 hour shift
• Must be able to legally work in Canada (as a citizen, resident or holding other current and valid work permit)
