About The Position

• Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job. • Ensures that the restaurant is properly set and ready for business, checking for cleanliness • Ensures that all guests are treated promptly, professionally, and courteously. • Knows the menu items, specials, and prices. • Uses the pivot point system to ensure proper placement of food. • Takes orders accurately and completely. • Knows the current wine list and has an understanding of the different wines. • Completes all sidework and other duties as assigned promptly • Offers assistance to all guests regardless of where they are seated. • Handles any guest’s complaints or problems promptly and courteously. • Compliance with all departmental rules, sidework assignments, and departmental procedures. • Performs other duties specified or assigned.

Requirements

Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with guests and team members.
Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
Must also possess a cooperative, helpful, friendly nature, and present a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
