Reporting to the Hell’s Kitchen General Manager, as a Server at Hell’s Kitchen, you are the primary ambassador of our brand—welcoming guests, delivering expertly prepared food and beverages, and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to exceptional hospitality. You play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences and consistently uphold the highest standards of service, professionalism, and brand integrity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a dining environment.
  • AGLC ProServe/Protect certification.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to handle special requests.
  • Effective communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing, and personable.
  • Well-organized and able to multitask.
  • Pleasant, accommodating, and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Sincere desire to contribute to a memorable guest experience.
  • Sense of urgency and strong work ethic.
  • Calm, organized, and confident under pressure.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and independently.
  • Willing to ask for help when needed.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Experience in food handling, cash handling, customer service, and/or bartending.
  • The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Meal breaks typically taken between busy serving times.
  • Adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Physical coordination to carry trays (up to 30 lbs).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare tables for guests.
  • Stock the service area with supplies (e.g. coffee, glassware).
  • Greeting guests and assist with menu selection.
  • Record orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Suggest and serve desserts and beverages.
  • Prepare and present bills and process payments.
  • Clean and reset tables after guests depart.
  • Support other food and beverage departments as directed by management.
  • Follow all Health and Safety requirements and look out for the safety of yourself and coworkers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
