Requirements

2+ years in upscale or fine dining
Knowledge of the Point of Sale (POS) system
Familiarity with table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, and proper table setup and dress code
Familiarity with food and beverage menu items, their prices, preparation methods, ingredients, and quality standards
Well-organized and focused, with keen attention to detail
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
Collaboration and teamwork
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Self-motivation
Passion for the restaurant industry
Commitment to providing outstanding service to guests

Responsibilities

Guiding guests through the menu
Taking food and beverage orders
Serving food and beverages to guests with professionalism and efficiency
Processing orders and payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system
Adhering to state liquor regulations, company service and culture standards, policies and procedures
