About The Position
The Server position is a Part Time, Non-Exempt role in the Culinary Department, focusing on afternoon shifts. The role requires adherence to Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization, as well as food quality, appearance, and presentation standards. Responsibilities include setting tables, maintaining workstations, taking orders, serving customers with proper etiquette, and promoting an inviting dining atmosphere. The position offers opportunities for personal and professional growth through continual training and career advancement, within a fun and engaging team environment.
Requirements
- High school graduate
- Must pass pre employment drug screen and criminal background check
- A history & physical exam, tuberculin skin test or chest X-ray, drug screen, criminal background screening, employment references from previous employers, and verification with the OIG list of excluded individuals/entities to confirm your eligibility to work in health care is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in food service work preferred
- Experience in working with seniors preferred
Responsibilities
- Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
- Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
- Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
- Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order.
- Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously.
- Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
- Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
