About The Position

Join the Iron Skillet team at Kenly 95 as a Part-Time Server. This role involves providing friendly, attentive table service in a high-volume restaurant environment, serving travelers, professional drivers, and local guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, recommending menu items, maintaining your section, and creating a great dining experience. Previous serving experience is required, and high-volume restaurant experience is a plus.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience serving in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
Friendly, professional, and committed to excellent hospitality.
Comfortable recommending menu items and increasing guest check averages.
Able to work smoothly with front-of-house and kitchen teams.
Punctual, dependable, and able to work assigned shifts.
Comfortable standing, walking, carrying trays, and staying active throughout the shift.
Must have dependable transportation to and from work.
Must have a valid food handler certificate or be willing to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

High-volume restaurant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and guide them through the dining experience.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them correctly.
Check on guests throughout their meal and respond to requests professionally.
Recommend appetizers, beverages, desserts, and other menu items to enhance the guest experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service section.
Complete side work efficiently and support the front-of-house team during busy periods.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
Communicate effectively with guests, servers, kitchen staff, and management.
