About The Position

The Server position at Draft Kings Restaurant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, efficiently and accurately serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role requires knowledge of company products, strong salesmanship, and the ability to operate a point of sales system. Servers must also adhere to company policies, communicate effectively with team members, and comply with all state and local liquor laws and health regulations.

Requirements

  • 1 year Server experience in a fast-paced environment, required
  • Food Handler Certification, required
  • High School Diploma/GED, required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have basic mathematical skills
  • Hep A vaccination on, or before, first day of work
  • Must be able to work Weekends and Holidays
  • Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, treating guests and coworkers with respect.
  • Serve guest food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure guests are 21 or older before serving alcoholic beverages by accurately checking guest ID.
  • Be knowledgeable in the products the company serves.
  • Understand salesmanship and customer service principles.
  • Properly operate the point of sales system and account for all service items.
  • Follow company procedures for accurate payment collection.
  • Effectively communicate with front of house and back of house team members.
  • Follow the company’s attendance policy and other rules and regulations.
  • Uphold great communication with guests, build rapport, and engage in friendly conversations.
  • Keep restaurant/bar workstations and surrounding areas stocked, clean, safe, and organized.
  • Comply with all rules, regulations, and policies of the food and beverage department.
  • Serve food/drink, greet and seat guests, bus tables, run food/drink, perform side work, and other required functions.
  • Satisfactorily complete assignable work tasks requested by departmental leaders.
  • Abide by all state and local liquor laws and health department rules/regulations.
  • Immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues.
  • Ensure customer service standard steps are met and retained.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
