About The Position

Thermea Spa Village Whitby is seeking a passionate Server to join their village. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, serving guests quickly and efficiently, and ensuring a unique and memorable dining experience. The Server will support the elevation of the company's culture through its pillars: The best in wellness, The feeling of somewhere else, A trouble-free experience, and In a natural state.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in serving required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to listen to guest needs
Positive attitude, autonomy, dynamism and detail-oriented
You genuinely care for the wellbeing of others
Good physical condition: ability to work long hours on your feet and ability to lift 50lbs (23kg)

Nice To Haves

Diploma in hospitality, an asset
Experience with a POS system, an asset
Knowledge wine characteristics and pairings, an asset

Responsibilities

Greet guests, present menus, answer questions, offer suggestions and take orders
Provide fast, efficient and courteous service, ensuring a memorable experience for our guests
Prepare and serve beverages, wine and spirits according to established standards
Prepare invoices and collects payment
Effectively organize, clean and restock service stations and dining areas
Perform opening and closing task checklists
Perform other related duties
