About The Position
OTO Development is hiring a Server to provide courteous and knowledgeable food and beverage service to guests. The role includes taking and transmitting orders, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, delivering food and beverages, processing guest payments, and assisting other servers. Servers must follow sanitation, safety, and alcohol service protocols and maintain a friendly, welcoming demeanor that supports guest satisfaction. This is a physically demanding position that involves standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods. The server must be able to stand for long periods and lift and maneuver heavy trays. Night and weekend work is required. The property is managed by OTO Development, an hotel development and management company that owns and operates upscale select-service, extended-stay, and lifestyle hotels across the United States.
Requirements

- Be familiar with taking guest orders, serving food, cleanup and routine side work, special-event setup and service, and assisting with food preparation.
- Be able to work nights and weekends.
- Be able to stand for long periods and lift and maneuver heavy trays.
- Be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Follow sanitation, safety, and alcohol service protocols.
- Maintain a friendly, relaxing, and courteous demeanor to help guests feel comfortable and ensure satisfaction.
- Record guests’ choices, transmit orders to the bar and kitchen, and provide knowledgeable recommendations as needed.
- Keep kitchen staff informed of timing, updates, and changes to guest orders.
- Pick up and deliver guests’ food and beverage orders, accompaniments, and condiments.
- Issue bills and collect payment, including room charges, credit cards, and cash, returning the correct change.
- Assist other servers as needed.
