About The Position

The Server plays a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by delivering attentive, professional, and engaging food and beverage service. Servers are responsible for providing accurate order execution, offering thoughtful menu recommendations, and maintaining strong knowledge of all food, beverage, and venue offerings. This role requires a strong sense of hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and payment transactions accurately
  • Basic reading, writing, and computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous restaurant serving experience preferred, particularly in high-volume or upscale environments
  • Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant service standards preferred
  • Professional appearance, reliability, and strong attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, attentive service to all guests and create an engaging dining experience
  • Welcome guests within two minutes of seating and check back within two minutes after delivering food or beverages
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of all menu items including food, liquor, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Make recommendations and actively sell menu items to enhance the guest experience
  • Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process various forms of payment correctly
  • Maintain complete knowledge of service procedures, food and beverage offerings, and operational standards
  • Successfully pass required training and testing related to service standards, alcohol awareness, food safety, and POS systems before working independent shifts
  • Serve multiple tables efficiently, typically managing 15–25 guests at a time
  • Maintain assigned side work and support the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and service areas
  • Work collaboratively with bar, kitchen, and support staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
  • Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age and follow all alcohol service regulations
  • Monitor alcohol consumption and refuse service in a professional and responsible manner when necessary
  • Maintain professional appearance and adhere to grooming and uniform standards
  • Follow all health department guidelines, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety practices
  • Perform additional duties as directed by management, training materials, or operational checklists
