About The Position

Clearwater at The Heights, a luxury senior living community in Houston, Texas, is seeking a Server. The Server helps make residents’ dining experiences pleasant and positive by providing high-quality customer service, maintaining dining areas, seating residents, and serving meals. The role also supports kitchen and dining operations and helps ensure safe and efficient community operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Background clearances as required by government regulations.

Responsibilities

Take written food orders and serve meals to residents, family members, and guests professionally, efficiently, and courteously.
Assist residents with meal and menu selections as needed or requested.
Use proper table-service etiquette, including serving from the left and clearing used dishes between courses.
Review residents’ dietary needs as outlined by the Culinary Director.
Track resident attendance at meals and report it promptly to the appropriate person.
Greet and seat residents properly, making extra efforts to help new residents feel welcome and comfortable.
Maintain a clean, sanitary dining area and follow food handling and serving policies and procedures.
Treat residents, associates, and guests with tact and friendliness.
Clean and reset tables and return dishes to the kitchen.
Clean and set up dining and food-service areas, including stocking condiments and removing and replacing old items as necessary.
Cooperate with and assist kitchen and dining services to support a positive resident dining experience.
Help break down deliveries, put away stock, and wash dishes as needed.
Deliver meals to resident rooms when required and collect trays after meal service.
Follow Clearwater standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient community operations.
Maintain a positive, professional image and high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the required uniform and name tag while working.
Represent Clearwater principles and core values daily.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
