About The Position
Little Pops NY Pizzeria is a family-owned, award-winning New York–style pizzeria and Italian trattoria looking for servers who thrive in a fast-paced environment, feed off the energy of a packed house, and still make every guest feel special. This role is for individuals who enjoy working busy shifts and are motivated by a dynamic restaurant setting. Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong multitasker who stays cool when the board is full and the bar is backed up
- A genuine people-person
- Team-first mentality — you pick up a table for a teammate without thinking twice
- Must be available nights and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Italian or trattoria experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Own your section — greet, guide, sell, and deliver with urgency and warmth
- Move fast and stay sharp: accurate orders, fast turns, no excuses
- Know the menu cold — pizza, pasta, craft cocktails, daily specials — and sell it confidently
- Read the room: anticipate needs before guests ask
- Fire orders through the POS and communicate clearly with kitchen and bar
- Reset and recharge — keep your section clean and guest-ready at all times
- Be the energy in the room, even on your third double of the week
