Requirements

At least 1-2 years of recent experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale-casual restaurant is REQUIRED
full time weekend availability necessary
Proven knowledge of wine, spirits, and seafood menu offerings is a must
Experience with fine-dining service standards, including handling special requests, dietary restrictions, and allergens
Experience with managing high-volume, fast-paced service while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests and team members effectively
A polished, friendly, and engaging personality with a passion for delivering exceptional service
Ability to remain organized and maintain composure in a high-energy environment
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order-taking and delivery
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive and approachable demeanor
Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shifts

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with POS systems and order processing is a plus

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional service, ensuring guests feel welcome, valued, and well-attended to from start to finish
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar
Ensure proper handling of special requests, allergies, or dietary restrictions and communicate them to the kitchen
Deliver food and drinks to guests, ensuring all items meet Max Fish’s high standards for presentation and quality
Offer knowledgeable wine and beverage recommendations and assist with pairing suggestions
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional dining area throughout the shift
Work efficiently with fellow team members to ensure smooth and timely service
Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service to enhance their dining experience
Follow all steps of service and strive for excellence in every aspect of the guest experience
