About The Position

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, Servers serve food and drinks and provide Guests with exceptional, timely service. They know the menu, make recommendations, and uphold safety and sanitation standards. Servers welcome and engage with Guests, recommend menu items, ensure order accuracy, and use their knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails to support the guest experience. They deliver food and drinks promptly, anticipate Guests’ needs, follow alcohol laws and company policies, process payments, and invite Guests back. They also keep their work area and server section stocked, clean, and safe, and complete required side work.

The role requires attention to detail, effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Servers must act with urgency and be available for days, nights, weekends, and holidays, subject to business needs. Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but is not required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Alcohol certification, as required.
• Comply with company uniform standards.
• Be ready to create a memorable Guest experience.
• Teamwork skills are required.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Ability to act with a swift sense of urgency.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, subject to business needs.

Responsibilities
