About The Position
The Little Room is seeking a Server to join their team. The shift hours are scheduled between 3:00 PM and 2:00 AM. The essential functions of this role include following safe food service protocols, greeting and seating customers, taking orders, serving food and drinks, processing transactions through the POS system, monitoring bussers, clearing tables, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery. The ideal candidate will maintain a clean and organized work area and be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items.
Requirements
- CA ABC Responsible Beverage Server certification required
- CA Food Handler certification required
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of fine dining service experience
- Basic mathematical skills; ability to make change
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
Nice To Haves
- Strong English language skills preferred
- Bilingual a plus

Responsibilities
- Follow safe food service protocols in accordance with Health Department standards
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly
- Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Keep accurate records in the POS system and process transactions
- Monitor and supervise the Busser as needed
- Clear and clean tables when the Busser is unavailable
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Suggestively sell food and beverage items
