Requirements

Genuine joy in serving people and making their day a little brighter.
A personal, friendly, and professional way with guests — every single time.
Eagerness to learn our products, ingredients, and tasting notes inside and out.
Ability to stay warm, accurate, and calm when it’s busy and the line is out the door.
Dependable, on time, and ready for early-morning, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Comfortable standing for full shifts and lifting/moving product and supplies.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to get certified).

Responsibilities

Greet every guest like you’re glad they came — warm, genuine, and present from hello to goodbye.
Master our doughnuts, coffee, ingredients, and tasting notes so you can speak to every item with confidence.
Ask good questions, make thoughtful suggestions, and help guests discover something they’ll love.
Remember regulars, their names, and their favorites — make every guest feel welcomed, remembered, and important.
Take orders accurately, handle the counter and register, and deliver fast, friendly, professional service through every rush.
Box, plate, and present product to Sidecar’s standards so it looks as good as it tastes.
Keep the front of house clean, stocked, and food-safe, following all health and sanitation standards.
Communicate clearly, support the line during the rush, and help the next shift start strong.
