About The Position

Denny's is looking for Servers to join their FOH team. As a Server, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and providing attentive service throughout their visit. You will also be expected to upsell specials and menu items, assist guests with selections, and promote the Denny's Rewards Program. Maintaining a clean dining room, processing payments, and collaborating with team members are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

• Experience as a Server, Waiter, Waitress, FOH Staff, or in customer service preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence in upselling, menu recommendations, and guest engagement
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Must be 18+
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, holidays

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide attentive service throughout their visit
• Take orders accurately and relay them clearly to the kitchen
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and correctly
• Use upselling skills to recommend specials, combos, and popular menu items
• Ask guiding questions to help guests make selections
• Offer confident menu recommendations based on guest preferences

• Maintain a clean, organized dining room
• Process payments efficiently (cash, card, digital)
• Work collaboratively with FOH and BOH team members to ensure smooth service
