We are currently seeking a Server to join our dynamic team and contribute to our commitment to hospitality and extraordinary guest experiences. We at Tamayo have been offering elevated service, food, and drink for over 20 years in the heart of historic and iconic Larimer Square. We seek individuals who are dedicated to fostering excellent service to our valued guests and promoting a positive environment of teamwork.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Basic mathematical skills with the ability to make change.
• Reading and writing proficiency.
• Computer skills for order processing.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• State health and alcohol compliance cards (if applicable).
• Ability to suggestively sell food and beverage items.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Multi-tasking and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve a set number of tables as determined by management.
• Possess complete knowledge of RSR Restaurant’s food and beverage preparation.
• Sell alcohol and food items professionally.
• Use a computer for order processing.
• Offer personalized and professional service to our guests in an efficient and timely manner.
• Maintain specific side-work and ensure the cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Clear and reset tables.
• Check guest identification for legal age and validity to consume alcoholic beverages.
• Observe guest behavior, adhere to responsible alcohol service as delineated in your training material.
• Ensure guest satisfaction, striving to exceed expectations.
• Report to work in a neat, pressed, and clean uniform with well-groomed hair and personal hygiene.
• Proficient knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine required.
• Proper service and presentation of wine is a must.
• Other duties as directed.
