Server $15-$22/hr 4:30p-7:30p (Part-Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at The Fremont Senior Living in Springfield, Missouri. This part-time position offers a starting wage of $15.00 - $22.00 per hour. The Server will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing tables and meals, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. This role requires a positive and energetic attitude, the ability to communicate effectively in English, and physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The Server will also assist residents with mobility and ensure they are criminally cleared.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Must be able to assist persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite.
- Report when residents are absent from meals.
